The Traxxas Velineon brushless motor power makes the Wide-MAXX® an RC monster truck in a class of its own. Massive 4S powerprovides wheelies on demand - at any time. Wide-Maxx feels like an unstoppable force of nature, as the top speeds, depending on the configuration and battery power, can be up to impressive 100+ km / h reach. The advanced, microprocessor-controlled electronic speed control (ESC) of the brushless Traxxas Velineon VXL-4s with 32 bit not only controls the power, but also has an integrated telemetry, which provides speed, temperature and voltage data to your smartphone in real time when you retrofit the optional 6511 TQi ™ radio module. Integrated cooling fans on the ESC and the motor ensure longer running times. Of the brushless high-performance motor 540XLhas a powerful 5 mm shaft, an aluminum heat sink and a powerful fan. Of course, all of this is completely protected and waterproof with Traxxa's innovative waterproofing. The RC fun is not stopped by rain or heat, or by dust and mud. Modular chassis design
The Traxxas Wide-Maxx's intelligent chassis design combines the shock towers, front and rear modules, and main frame into a single rigid platform that is engineered to absorb and dissipate impact energy across the structure. Critical components of the powertrain, receiver, and battery are protected to keep Wide-Maxx off the workbench and have fun. A well thought-out structure and easily accessible components facilitate maintenance and ensure that repairs can be carried out in next to no time. The energy-absorbing chassis and bumper attachments, together with the interlocking bulkheads, form the foundation for the heavy-duty suspension and drive train. The Wide-Maxx goal is very clear: have fun at all times! It drives practically anywhere and the way you want it - hour after hour of exciting RC action. So that the fun doesn't end too soon, always think of replacement batteries.
TRAXXAS STABILITY MANAGEMENT ™ (TSM)
Traxxas Stability Management ™ (TSM) works quietly behind the scenes to help unlock the brutal 4S power of the Wide-Maxx for maximum acceleration and superior control to use. Go ahead, go full throttle! TSM never limits the power output, but works with hardly noticeable steering interventions and ensures that the Wide-Maxx always goes where you are steering it, even if traction is lost due to spinning tires. The intensity of the TSM support can be easily adjusted on the hand-held transmitter.
INTEGRATED WHEELIE BAR
A wheelie bar is mandatory equipment to prevent backflips at full acceleration. It also cushions shocks from imperfect landings and can be conveniently used as a handle when your Wide-Maxx is brought on its next RC adventure.
